This adventure begins with your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, where you’ll transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. You’ll explore the Kathmandu Valley’s World Heritage sites on the second day and prepare for your trek. The trekking adventure starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani, followed by a series of exhilarating trekking days through picturesque villages, high mountain passes, and lush landscapes.

You’ll traverse through various altitudes, from 1,860 meters in Dharapani to the challenging Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters. The trek covers diverse terrains, offering stunning views and cultural experiences. After crossing the pass, you’ll descend through Muktinath, Jomsom, and Tatopani, where you can relax in natural hot springs. Your trek concludes in Ghorepani, with a sunrise visit to Poon Hill, followed by a journey back to Pokhara. The final leg of the trip includes time in Pokhara for sightseeing or relaxation, before returning to Kathmandu for shopping and final preparations before departure.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel on a Bed and Breakfast (BB) basis.

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley, including visits to World Heritage sites, and preparation for the trek. Overnight stay at the hotel on a BB basis.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu via Beshisar to Dharapani (approx. 8-9 hours). Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner).

Day 04: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,665 meters), approximately 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 05: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300 meters), approximately 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 06: Trek from Upper Pisang to Ngwal Village (3,660 meters), approximately 5 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 07: Trek from Ngwal Village to Manang (3,540 meters), approximately 4 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 08: Rest day in Manang for exploration around lakes and villages. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 09: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,115 meters), approximately 4-5 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 10: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi/High Camp Hotel (4,420 meters/4,715 meters), approximately 5-6 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 11: Trek from Thorong Phedi/High Camp Hotel via Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters) to Muktinath (3,725 meters), approximately 7-8 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 12: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715 meters), approximately 6 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 13: Drive from Jomsom to Tatopani (1,190 meters), approximately 4 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board. Enjoy the natural hot springs.

Day 14: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,855 meters), approximately 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at a mountain lodge with full board.

Day 15: Early morning visit to Poon Hill for sunrise, followed by breakfast in Ghorepani. Trek to Ulleri (approx. 3-4 hours) and drive to Pokhara (approx. 3 hours). Overnight stay in Pokhara on a BB basis.

Day 16: Free day in Pokhara for sightseeing or relaxation.

Day 17: Drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The flight takes about 30 minutes, while the drive takes approximately 7-8 hours. Overnight stay at the hotel on a BB basis.

Day 18: Free day for shopping or leisure in Kathmandu.

Day 19: Final departure from Kathmandu.
