The Narphu Trek is an exceptional journey in Nepal’s Annapurna region, offering a blend of cultural immersion, high-altitude trekking, and breathtaking landscapes. This trek takes you through the remote Nar and Phu Valleys, which are less frequented by tourists, providing an authentic and serene trekking experience.
The trek begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani, a key access point to the Annapurna Circuit. From Dharapani, you trek through picturesque villages and varied terrain, gradually gaining altitude as you head towards the Nar and Phu Valleys. The trail offers stunning views of the Himalayas and encounters with traditional Tibetan cultures.
Key highlights include the challenging Kangla Pass (5,300 meters), which separates the Nar and Phu Valleys, and the chance to explore ancient villages and monasteries. The trek is known for its remote and rugged beauty, combined with rich cultural experiences and the warm hospitality of the local people.
